Dear Students,
In celebration of Pi Day, we will be hosting a Rubik's Cube Competition on 25 March 2022 (Friday). This will be held after school from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Depending on the segment that you are participating in, this should not affect interfere with your CCA timing. For each event, there will be two categories, Competitive and Open.
For the Competitive category events, students will be timed and the top 10 timings will be selected to compete in a Finals round, held immediately after. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 for each event. Their Houses will be recorded for House points. Challenge yourself!
For the Open category events, students will solve the required puzzles and given their own timings. Their Houses will be recorded for House points. Just come down to have some fun!
The timings for the segments are as follows:
- 2x2 cube (Competitive) 1:15pm
- 3x3 cube (Competitive) 1:25pm
- Pyraminx (Competitive) 1:35pm
- 2x2 cube (Open) 1:45pm
- 3x3 cube (Open) 1:55pm
- Pyraminx (Open) 2:05pm
In view of current Safe Management Measures, you will be required to bring your own Rubik's cubes or Pyraminx. You may participate in more than one segment. Please sign up to indicate your interest here.
