You are invited to take part in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) 2023. The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students' everyday lives. More information regarding the competition can be found HERE . 2023 SST Pi Week Results

Dear students, We celebrated 2023 SST Pi Week from 21 Feb - 24 Feb last week. Students and staff took part actively, with as as many as 600 responses per day for our Math Challenges. Here are the results. Thank you to our Math reps for coming up with the questions and SST staff and community for actively taking part in our event.

2022 Pi Week Event 1 - Rubik's Cube Competition

Dear Students, In celebration of Pi Day, we will be hosting a Rubik's Cube Competition on 25 March 2022 (Friday). This will be held after school from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Depending on the segment that you are participating in, this should not affect interfere with your CCA timing. For each event, there will be two categories, Competitive and Open. For the Competitive category events, students will be timed and the top 10 timings will be selected to compete in a Finals round, held immediately after. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 for each event. Their Houses will be recorded for House points. Challenge yourself! For the Open category events, students will solve the required puzzles and given their own timings. Their Houses will be recorded for House points. Just come down to have some fun!
